About Yulia Trufanova
My mission is to help each client gain strength with confidence, resilience, and long-term health in mind.
I am a NASM-certified personal trainer passionate about helping people feel stronger, healthier, and more confident in their bodies. Originally from Russia, I moved to the United States at 21 to pursue the American Dream and build a career dedicated to improving people’s lives through fitness. My own journey overcoming scoliosis taught me firsthand how transformative exercise can be—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
I began my career in 2015 as a group fitness instructor at The Vertical Method studio in San Francisco, where I specialized in Corrective Exercise and Strength Training. I worked with clients to improve posture, correct muscle imbalances, and enhance mobility while minimizing injury risk.

Today, I continue my work as a personal trainer at Live Fit Gym, located at the Fairmont Hotel, where I design personalized training programs that integrate strength, mobility, and the mind-body connection to help clients reach their goals and feel their best.
